Pancakes for pets benefits Republic Paw Pantry
Republic Paw Pantry will host its Fourth Annual Pancakes for Paws Pancake Breakfast from 8-11a.m. Saturday, March 19, at Bair’s All-American Sports Grill in Republic at 1644 U.S. 60 highway in Republic.
“Our goal is $8,000 to save the Paw Pantry from closing,” says Krystal Gaines, president and co-found of the non-profit organization whose mission is to prevent pets from being abandoned or surrendered due to financial crisis. All proceeds will benefit the Republic Paw Pantry. The pantry is supported solely by donations and fundraising events.
The pantry provides temporary assistance of food and supplies to families affected by unemployment, chronic illness, and to seniors on fixed incomes.
The “all-you-can-eat” breakfast is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children 10 and under. Tickets in available advance at Fanning Family Pet Care, 200 E. Missouri Highway 174 in Republic, or by calling (417) 893-0086.
