Young Missouri hunters may apply for April 8-9 spring turkey hunt

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Missouri youth, archery, and firearms turkey hunters may apply online between Jan. 6 and Feb. 28 to participate in the 2017 spring turkey managed hunts offered through the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC). Spring turkey hunting youth weekend will be April 8-9 with the regular spring season running April 17 – May 7.

Hunting permits are available from numerous vendors around the state or online at mdc.mo.gov/buypermits, or through the Department’s free mobile apps, MO Hunting and MO Fishing, available for download through Google Play for Android devices or the App Store for Apple devices.
